Key Issues

Essential City Services

I am committed to being a responsible steward of taxpayer dollars while addressing our community's needs. Let’s come together as a community to demand better city services including our public safety, streets, 311, and parks departments. Let’s invest in our workforce to improve understaffed departments across the city. With a newly hired police chief, it is the perfect time to work hand-in-hand with our community to address public safety in our neighborhoods. We need to make sure the new streets plan is implemented with fidelity and fairness. Our past city manager did a disservice to our community by closing our public pools. Let’s work to revitalize and find funds to fix them.

Transparency & Accountability

I want to be transparent about the city manager selection process — it was not without its challenges. Throughout, I remained committed to amplifying the community's voice in what many saw as a flawed process.

Economic Development & Quality of Life

I want to focus on the quality of life across District 2, from the Northeast to Central to South Central El Paso. Let’s create partnerships and collaborate with other governmental entities, such as EPISD, to improve community spaces to come together with our families and friends to share space and build community.
